Jamaican Reggae-Soul Singer/Songwriter, Medical Doctor and Media Personality, with ‘authenticity to passion and self’ as his message, supported by hard work, focus and humility.
Chosen by music, at the age of 7 years, Mario started out mimicking the vocal nuances of many musical legends, and eventually realised that music was his true calling. Years later after choirs, vocal groups, background and studio vocals, Mario decided to forge a solo career, furthering his knowledge with a degree from the renown Berklee College of Music.
May 2015 marked the release of his debut album, ‘Reggae-Soul Vol. 1: M.E. On Love’ where he shared his reggae soul, a unique blend of R&B and Reggae. Mario has also performed on major stages, such as ‘Amateur Night at the Apollo’, in Harlem, NY, Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, and auditioned for ‘The Voice’ and ‘X-Factor USA’.
His name, forming the acronym M.E., could not be more fitting, as he continuously spreads a message encouraging others to be themselves, and pursue their passions despite the odds.
